A pressure cooker or a still which will bring the temperature of the water to 248 degrees Fahrenheit will effectively kill all pathogens.
PracticeSurvival.com recommends boiling water for a minimum of three minutes. Boil with the lid off as this will allow many of the potential VOCs and Non VOCs to boil out of the water into the air. See the article on boiling and distillation. This will kill Giardia. However, in higher altitudes water boils at a lower temperatures. If you are up in the mountains, you should boil water longer (i.e., 5 minutes longer when more than 5,000 feet above sea level).
•· Boiling (Rolling boil for 1 minute) has a very high effectiveness in killing Cryptosporidium;
•· Filtration has a high effectiveness in removing Cryptosporidium when using an absolute less than or equal to 1 micron filter (NSF Standard 53 or 58 rated "cyst reduction / removal" filter);
•· Disinfection with iodine or chlorine is not effective in killing Cryptosporidium;
•· Disinfection with chlorine dioxide has a low to moderate effectiveness in killing Cryptosporidium;
•· Combination filtration and disinfection has a very high effectiveness in removing and killing Cryptosporidium when used with chlorine dioxide and an absolute less than or equal to 1 micron filter (NSF Standard 53 or 58 rated "cyst reduction / removal" filter). The same goes for Giardia and other Protozoa.

Unless you are boiling the water in a pressure cooker it will not kill botulism or cryptosporidium, that requires 248 degrees Fahrenheit which is not attainable without a pressure cooker
Never, never, NEVER drink water from untreated sources.
There is no, ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for not treating it first. Your survival may depend upon it.
The CDC has a nice Water Treatment Methods for Backcountry Chart . Take note when you read the chart;s recommendations that it says,
“Boiling can be used as a pathogen reduction method that should kill all pathogens."
That is at least a rolling boil of 1 minute and 3 minutes at over 2000 m / 6562 feet.
In fact, it is not likely that the boiling will rid your water of Cyrptosporidium. The CDC website says :
