Water Purification with Ozone
Ozone consists of three Oxygen Atoms. The third of the three is weakly bound to the other two. It readily transfers to other organic substances; bacteria, viruses, etc.. When the Oxygen atom binds with the other substance it causes a process called oxidization. You know oxidization as rust or how things get faded, dry, and brittle after prolonged exposure to chlorine at a pool. Ozone Generators are used to create ozone for use in ozone purification. The process is the same as that created by the sun when the UV rays (harmful to us) after a rain storm when you smell that “rain fresh smell” which is actually ozone. Ozone scrubs the air and water making water clean. Solar Water Disinfection harnesses that process to purify water making it potable; safe to drink.

Commercially available ozone generators which have fans in them are highly effective at controlling and abating mold, mildew, and fungal growth after floods, natural disasters, fires and other situations that cause humid conditions conducive to their growth.
