Unstable Atoms Are Referred to as Radioactive
The unstable atoms in the Ionizing radiation attempt to reach stability by expelling, or emitting, the excess energy or mass; radiation.
Ionizing radiation is produced by X-ray machines and Gamma Waves.

Ionizing Radiation is the most threatening type of radiation because it is capable of producing charged particles (ions) in matter. It can make a solid object radioactive. It is caused by unstable atoms because they have an excess of energy, mass or both.
